A. Admission Criteria – Level 3 Diplomas

Academic Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following:

•Secondary School Certificate / Matriculation / O-Levels (minimum completion)

•Equivalent international qualification recognised by the institution

•Relevant vocational qualification at Level 2

•Mature learners (aged 18+) with relevant work experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis following interview

English Language Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate a suitable level of English proficiency through one of the following:

•IELTS 5.0 overall (or equivalent)

•Pearson / Cambridge / TOEFL equivalent

•Previous education delivered in English

•Successful completion of an internal English assessment (where permitted by the awarding body)

•Learners must demonstrate the ability to benefit from the programme

•Admission decisions are subject to institutional academic judgement and awarding body regulations

B. Admission Criteria – Level 5 Diplomas / Higher National Diplomas

Academic Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following:

•Ofqual-regulated Level 3 qualification in a related subject

•A-Levels or equivalent international qualification

•Relevant professional or vocational qualification

•Mature learners with relevant managerial or sector experience may be admitted following assessment and interview

English Language Requirements

•IELTS 5.5 overall (or equivalent)

•Proof of prior study in English

•Internal English placement test (subject to awarding body approval)

Additional Notes

•Learners must demonstrate academic readiness for higher-level study

•Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) may be considered in line with awarding body policies

C. Admission Criteria – Level 7 Diplomas

Academic Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following:

•UK Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

•Ofqual-regulated Level 6 qualification

•Professional qualification with substantial managerial experience

•Mature learners with extensive senior-level experience may be considered following interview and portfolio review

English Language Requirements

•IELTS 6.0–6.5 overall (or equivalent)

•Prior degree taught in English

•Institutional English assessment (where permitted)

Additional Notes

•Admission is subject to academic judgement

•Learners must demonstrate analytical, research and academic writing capability
